Privacy and cookie policy

This policy explains how your information is processed when you visit resttransfer.com and make a booking, and which cookies are used on the site.

This text is published in Turkish, English, German and Russian. In the event of any discrepancy between the versions, the Turkish text shall prevail.

1. Scope

This policy applies to the website and booking services of the REST Transfer brand of REST ORGANİZASYON HİZMETLERİ TURİZM TAŞ. İNŞ. OTO AL. SAT. KİRALAMA SAN. TİC. İTH. İHR. LTD. ŞTİ.. Details on the processing of personal data are set out in the Privacy Notice (KVKK).

2. Information we collect

  • Information you provide in the booking form: name, email, phone, flight, hotel, passenger, luggage and extras details, your note.
  • Information you share when you contact us by WhatsApp, phone or email.
  • Technical information: when you open the site, your browser technically sends your IP address and browser details to the server. To prevent abuse of bookings, we keep only an irreversible hash of your IP address for a short time; we do not store the raw IP address with the booking record.

3. Cookies and local storage

Cookies and local storage allow a website to store small pieces of information in your browser. Our site uses only the following first-party records, which are strictly necessary for the site to work and to remember your choices:

  • NEXT_LOCALE (cookie): remembers the language you selected. It is only created when you choose a language different from your browser's language. Duration: session cookie, deleted when you close the browser.
  • rt-currency (browser local storage, localStorage): remembers the currency you selected for displaying prices (EUR, TRY, USD, GBP). It is not sent to the server. Duration: until you delete it in your browser.
  • rt-admin (cookie): only for the admin panel session of our authorised staff; it is not placed in visitors' browsers. It is valid only on the /admin path and cannot be read by scripts in the browser. Duration: deleted on sign-out, at most 400 days.

4. Analytics and advertising cookies

Our site does not use analytics, statistics, advertising or social media tracking cookies or similar technologies (e.g. Google Analytics, Meta Pixel); no third party places cookies in your browser through our site.

If such cookies are used in the future, this policy will be updated and your cookie consent will be obtained before they are placed in your browser.

The strictly necessary records above do not require consent. You can delete them in your browser settings; your language and currency choice will then return to the default.

5. Use of information

  • To create and confirm your booking and carry out your transfer,
  • To track your flight and contact you about your booking,
  • To handle payments, refunds, invoicing and accounting,
  • To respond to your changes, cancellations, requests and complaints,
  • To prevent fake and automated bookings and to comply with our legal obligations.

6. Sharing of information

We do not sell your information or give it to third parties for marketing. Your information is shared only to the extent necessary with our drivers, banks and payment institutions, our hosting (Hostinger), database (Supabase) and email (Resend) providers, via WhatsApp (Meta) and with competent authorities as required by law. Details are set out in the Privacy Notice (KVKK).

7. Security

Site traffic is transmitted over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Booking confirmation pages can only be opened with a signed link personal to you and are closed to search engines. Visitors cannot access booking records; access is limited to authorised staff who need it for their duties.

8. Third-party links

Our site contains links to WhatsApp, Google Maps and our social media accounts. These are links only; these services are not loaded through our site unless you click on them. When you go to these services, the privacy and cookie policies of the respective companies apply.

9. Children's privacy

Bookings must be made by adults. For child and infant passengers we only collect their number and the need for seats.

10. Your rights

To exercise your rights under the KVKK, such as access to your personal data or requesting its correction or deletion, you can write to info@restorganizasyon.com. Details are set out in the Privacy Notice (KVKK).

11. Changes

We may update this policy. The current text is always published on this page; the date at the top of the page shows the date of the last update.
